Invitation to Heart of a Lioness Series

The Heart of a Lioness series is dedicated to highlighting the exceptional women who balance power with grace, purpose with passion, and leadership with love. These women infuse their strength into their work, their communities, and their personal journeys, all while representing the richness of African Diaspora culture.

You have been selected for the Heart of a Lioness campaign because you embody the strength, style, and spirit that define the Mamayashi family. Your work, presence, and commitment to culture and community reflect the legacy of powerful women we aim to honor and uplift through this campaign. We are truly honored to share your story with the world.

START YOUR "HEART OF A LIONESS" FEATURE

1) Submit the Campaign Form
Complete and submit the Heart of a Lioness profile form found here. This will include your bio, organization info, a short reflection on why you support Mamayashi, and photos of you in Mamayashi apparel. Review and agree to the short consent paragraph allowing Mamayashi and her partners/associates to use your content across digital platforms.

2) Schedule and Participate in an Interview
After submission, we'll send you a link to schedule a 30–60 minute Zoom (or audio-only) interview. This conversation helps us gather deeper insights for your feature. The interview will be conducted by a member of the Mamayashi team or a trusted associate. Consider these questions in preparation for the interview:

Why do you choose to patronize Mamayashi Collection?
How does African diaspora culture influence your personal and professional life?
What are some projects you're passionate about?

3) Preview Your Draft Feature
You’ll have a chance to preview your feature before it goes live.

4) Launch and Collaborate
Once your feature launches, we’ll tag you and send a collaboration request via Instagram and other platforms. Please accept and feel free to repost or share on your platforms.

5. Stay Connected
You may receive additional collaboration requests or follow-up within 1-6 months as the campaign continues to roll out.
